RSS Frequently Asked Questions
What Is RSS?
Most of Christianity Today's sites have an accompanying RSS feed, which is a special webpage formatted for RSS readers. An RSS reader, sometimes called an RSS aggregator, is a program that displays the content, usually headlines and article summaries, of the feed you subscribe to.
Where Can I Find an RSS Reader?
If you do not have an RSS reader and would like to obtain one, type "RSS reader" or "RSS aggregator" into ant search engine. Browse the results to read about the different types of RSS readers and services available. According to our research, the three most widely-used and easy-to-understand RSS services are Google Reader, My Yahoo!, and Bloglines.
How do I subscribe to RSS feeds?
There are several ways to subscribe to an RSS feed, but the general concept remains the same; you need to tell your reader where to find the feed. With some RSS readers, you can subscribe to a feed by clicking on the corresponding XML button (). Others have their subscription buttons which will add feeds to your account automatically. Otherwise, you will need to copy the feed's URL into your RSS reader.
